Cerro Campanario - Bariloche

DESCRIPTION
This is one of Bariloche's main attractions. It affords an incomparable view, which is known as the Argentine Switzerland because of its resemblance to that beautiful place. The summit of Campanario Mountain offers such splendid scenery that it allows visitors to fully appreciate the beauty of San Carlos de Bariloche. You can get there on foot or by chairlifts, which rise up about 3,400 feet (1,050 m) and, in only seven minutes, you'll be watching that dreamy landscape from above. Once on the top, you'll be able to enjoy the view of Lake Nahuel Huapi, Victoria Island and Otto, López and Catedral Mountains, as well as the magnificent Andes Range surrounding the city. Accessible all year, Campanario Mountain offers tourists, especially those eager to appreciate this impressive landscape, the chance to enjoy a hot chocolate at the summit's cafeteria.
