Museo Yámana - Ushuaia

This museum's main goal is to provide an overview of the Yámana community, their practices, their relationship with nature and their extinction. And it does the job. The Yámana Museum has become a historical and artistic interest site in Ushuaia. In the rooms, there are dioramas displaying different scenes of the daily life of the Yámana, Tierra del Fuego's indigenous inhabitants for six thousand years, extinguished 30 years after the foreigners got to this land. If you want to learn more about the Yámana influence over the Patagonian south, don't miss this tour.
